I happened to know ACE Architecture in 1985. As I had read the story of how Can ERSAN started his career and his works, I was impressed already. Since then, we worked on a lot of projects together. In the course of time, I personally believe that the professional stance of ACE Architecture that does not compromise on quality, their respect to the profession and their way of handling every single project with great care have taught me a lot. Also, I am grateful that 20 years ago, even though I was taking my first steps in my career, they trusted me and they always made me feel like I was trusted. I believe that ACE Architecture will only flourish with a gradually growing but dynamic team.

After founding our company in 1985, the first architect we met was Ahmet Can ERSAN. If I am not mistaken, the first large project we worked together on was Van Cultural Center at the end of 80’s. Although he was our employer, it would not be wrong if I say that we, fresh graduates of engineering school, learned all the details of working on a large project at a big city from him. We would consult to him whenever we felt the need. In a way, he was our volunteer mentor. We can never forget his contributions. Many years have passed since then but our friendship remained the same. There are still a lot ot people in our firm who pays extra attention when they hear the name Can ERSAN. He has always been and he always will be loved in our firm. It has been our joy to see him succeed.

It has been more or less 15 years since I met the esteemed architect Ahmet Can ERSAN. Even before then, I had been following the projects of the firm and I was aware of that they had been working on phenomenal projects. I am quite delighted as well as proud of that we had a chance to realise numerous projects in Ankara together with ACE Architecture, especially after the firm grew stronger with the architect Orçun ERSAN joining in. I sincerely hope that our operations will continue with the same technical and artistic approach and I wish ACE Architecture a continued success.

When we were about to enter the construction industry, we had a desire to work with an experienced architectural office that was well-informed about the industry as the construction industry was an unfamiliar one for us. After a long period of searching, we made the decision of working with ACE Architecture.
As a result of the rigorous efforts of ACE Architecture, we completed the project “Anka Konakları (Anka Houses)” which turned out to be a precedent for many individuals and companies.
We always have been and always will be taking the personality, character and experience of Ahmet Can ERSAN as an example.
